Ever since Conner turned 4 months Colton and I have had a blast with Conner, he rolls over, eats his piggies, had started solids, cooes all the time, smiles, laughs, grabs for things, sits up, and just loves to be with us. Our daily routine is as follows:
4:30 a.m Conner wakes up for a "morning feeding"
4:30-7:30 am Conner sleeps
7:30-9:00 am Conner wakes up so I get up go get him out of his crib and bring him back to my bed, change his diaper, talk to him in his language(can you picture that) then just lay by him still so tired and still so not ready to get up. but I do i finally get enough courage to sluggishly pull myself out of bed and walk into the kitchen get his solids from the cubbard (spelling?) set up his high chair walk back into the bedroom where colton is still asleep so soundly take conner who is kicking his feet all over the place (if you've heard my mother's room story you'll understand) into the kitchen and start to feed him. he loves his "solids" we start of the week with pears then move to chiquitta bannanas and then applesauce and then finally his favorite carrots. today was a carrot day! whoopee. anyways after that feeding we will get ready for the day. wake colton and get him going then play in the front room with is toys (which he only finds interesting for so long) so then i end up entertaining him. after my broadway show (me entertainging conner) i will lay him down for a nap around 10:30 or 11 he then sleeps until 12:15 and during that time i finish getting ready and clean the house then after he wakes up we play again or go on a walk or run errands until 2:30pm i then feed him when we get home from whatever we eat solids again and then take another nap then while he's sleeping i get ready for school then pump a bottle and wake conner up and then get dinner prepped and then finish cleaning and then get conner packed in the car...lol...and then drive to school around 4:30 i arrive at school wait for colton to pick conner up then i am at school from 5:00pm until 10:00 pm in the mean while colton is watching conner. he feeds him, bathes him, puts on his pajamas, plays with him, and puts him down to bed at 8:00pm. when i arrive home colton and i usually eat dinner, (yes i know thats late), then read scriptures, say our prayers (family, and personal) then i help him any way i can with homework, (usually ends up with me watching AFV) then we are off to bed around 1 am. then the day starts all over again. it has been a blast. i can now say after 4 months i have finally become immune to the early mornings and late nights. lol conner is my light and joy he has blessed not only me but my family so much. he has taught me patience, unconditional love, true happiness, and the never ending principle of being and becoming as a child and unto christ. he has strengthened my faith and testimony of eternal families, and no matter how tired, stressed or whatever i am he knows how to put a smile on my face and give me that extra strength to keep going. i love you conner with all of my heart. thank you!
